Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt.Ltd was established in 2009, but our staff and management have many years of experience in the field. The management, staff and trekking guides are trusted by tourists who sometimes come back year after year. With our many years of experience in the field we are able to give you excellent support and help as you explore our beautiful Nepal. All our Trek and Tour guides are trained by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. All of our team members are Registered and Licensed as per the Nepal Government requirements. Our whole team is trained in First Aid, Eco - Tourism and is well versed in Nepali Culture, History and Art. We are committed to make known the genuine Nepal to our travelers. Gopal shrestha (Gopi) [Managing Director]
Gopal shrestha is the founder and Managing Director of Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. He has been working in this field for the last 8 years. Gopal is very experienced as a Trekking (Himalayan) guide and has led treks and tours over all the major Himalayan routes in Nepal, Tibet & Bhutan. He has never once failed in guiding all his clients over 5000m high mountains, ensuring that they experienced the best viewing points on the trail
Gopal started his career in Tourism from the ground level being as a porter, he has done numerous treks as a porter, which has enhanced his efforts to be where he is today. After being porter for a few years he started to move up his way step by step and became first a guide, then tour manager and finally managing director of Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt.Ltd. He has experience in working with people from all over the world, with his very friendly nature, loyalty, hard work, honesty and sincerity to his profession has made him what he is today. Before starting his own Trekking Agency, Gopi had served in a reputed trekking company as a tour and trek manager.
Gopal has successfully completed several Trekking and Mountaineering training courses. He still explores different parts of the country, and especially introducing new routes to the clients who travel with his team that’s the best of him. Mahendra Kumar Shrestha has been working in the field of accounting since 2008.He is efficient & qualified to keep the official records in systematic way. He has also specialized in treks and tours throughout Nepal. Mr. Mahendra has a passion for his own country, Nepal. So, he visited different beautiful tourism spots to collect trekking experiences. He loves sharing his knowledge and interesting experiences with others. He is also a good behaved person.
